CASALINGHE DI TOKYO IS NARRATIVE DESIGN FROM MILANO. we APPLy NARRATIVE PRINCIPLES ONTO CONTEMPORARY OBJECTS, WITH A SPECIFIC FOCUS ON KITCHEN & DINING ACCESSORIES.
The kitchen is CDT ideal playground, the domestic space where intimacy meets hospitality to create powerful stories of taste and aesthetic pleasure.
The name of the project, founded in 2014, is inspired by the concept of asobi (遊び) "to play" in Japanese and “journey” or “to wander” in Mandarin. Every project develops under the creative direction of Alice Schillaci and consists of an ongoing dialogue between what the object is and what the object will become through all the stories connected to it.
Superior craftsmanship and Italian cultural heritage are the foundations on which CDT has built its line of products, creating a meaningful bond between kitchen and narrative.
